There are moments in life when dreaming no longer feels exciting, but heavy. REVENGE OF THE DREAMERS exists within that moment. It represents the shift that happens when the illusion of ambition begins to disappear.

The work explores the experience of navigating loss, uncertainty, and the pressure that often holds onto self growth. Which eventually affects creative growth. As relationships change, familiar environments disappear, external reassurance fades, your sense of belonging begins to feel fragile. Dreams that once felt inspiring become interrupted by LIFE.

At its core, REVENGE OF THE DREAMERS reflects the tension between wanting to still see more of yourself while being exhausted for putting in so much effort without being seen for the intentionality invested in your creations. It examines a period where the courage to continue striving feels uncertain, yet the desire to move forward with it still remains.

The visual language developed is built around symbols and contrast. Through vivid red backgrounds, monochromatic character designs, and the involvement of luxury material. These visuals explore the relationship between approval and emptiness.

Throughout the exhibition, the characters are often surrounded by objects traditionally associated with achievement. Jewellery, watches, designer materials. However these elements are not presented as celebrations of wealth. Instead they function as metaphors for the constant search for reassurance.

In contrast to these surrounding symbols, the characters themselves appear emotionally distant, detached and introspective. Their energy communicates exhaustion rather than fulfilment. Revealing the disconnect that can exist between outward success and internal stability.

REVENGE OF THE DREAMERS examines the aftermath of attaching yourself too closely to external metrics, and the confrontation that follows when those metrics no longer feel fulfilling. Join us on the 27th of June as we experience the full story, RSVP using the link below.
