A few months ago, I made the decision to challenge myself to see how many projects I can translate into a new visual theme I created for myself. A black void, dimly lit subject, blue tinted colours and childlike sketches. Today as you’re reading this I’ve come to the completion of developing it. What you will see is a collection of the work I’ve produced consistently, using one visual language. I call it “INSIDE OUT”
I’ve always approached my work with a completely fresh lens. Resetting my visual pallet, allowing myself to start over. I recently started coming across multiple creators who have inspired me to develop a consistent visual identity. Samurai Farai, Gabriel Moses, Hype Williams. And it all started when I explained my vision to Sonwabiso Munashe. Let’s begin this journey with my first INSIDE OUT experience “WAR IS GLORY”
WELCOME TO THE EXPERIENCE, MY FIRST OFFERING. INSIDE OUT. A journey through my childhood, my neighbourhood heroes, and the courage to face what we fear.
This project marks Phase 1 of my new visual language — merging photography and raw, childlike drawings.
